Fair’s started out as a vegetable market at the corner of 93rd Avenue and Jefferson Hwy. In 1978, Fair’s was converted into a Garden Center and added a full-time florist. After more growth and many successful years, Mike and Jackie Fair sold the business to Phillip Phenow and Mark Hasse in January 2000. Phil and Mark had worked at Fair’s for many years – 30 and 15, respectively – in the residential and commercial landscape areas. 

Today, Fair’s has a full-service floral department delivering metro-wide in addition to being member of Teleflora. The Garden Center provides annuals, perennials, lawn care products, fountains, garden accents, sod, bulk rock, mulch and dirt. The Nursery has a variety of trees and shrubs, many grown at our tree farm in Monticello and delivered to the store. Landscape design and installation is done as well for both residential and commercial jobs.

Fair’s is open year-round, adding seasonal merchandise during the fall and Christmas seasons.
